Sailing at Second SouthPoint Regatta

The sailing Chargers braved gusty and rainy conditions in Hollywood, FL, this past weekend during the second SouthPoint regatta of the seasons. The varsity squad finished 6th out of 19 schools at the event. Skipper Elizabeth S with her crew of Karlie K and skipper Heather K with crewing duties shared by Anika B and Zach O turned in top performances.
Junior varsity skippers Chris S, Ethan D, and Guthrie B, with the help of Victoria F and Heidi H as crew, sailed their way into a 2nd place finish among 12 schools!
The sailing team’s results this weekend keeps them on track in their bid to qualify for post season competition.
