Participation: The Key to the Shorecrest Fund
Giving Week was an incredible start to our annual giving season. We’re so grateful to the families, faculty, alumni, and friends who contributed to the Shorecrest Fund, helping us build strong early momentum.
The Shorecrest Fund is our main giving fund, and it must be raised and spent each year. It touches nearly every part of our school, from classroom innovation and technology upgrades to faculty development and student experiences. Your generosity has already made a direct impact this year, supporting projects like a new sound system for the Weiss Family Pavilion, Upper School travel, fresh art supplies, and new helmets for the Baseball team.
While Giving Week gave us a great start, continued participation is critical and we still need more families to join in. Every gift to the Shorecrest Fund matters, no matter the size, because giving delivers a triple impact:
- It supports every student and teacher at Shorecrest.
- It boosts opportunities for future grants.
- It shows a united community behind our Mission.
Community support of the Shorecrest Fund helps unlock additional funding opportunities and it influences how outside organizations view our school. Many major grants are awarded, in part, based on parent and community participation.
Your participation truly matters — and it’s very important that people understand that, so the Shorecrest Fund can continue supporting every student, every teacher and every day at Shorecrest.
