Community Donor Spotlight: Frances and Patrick Alesia
For Shorecrest grandparents Frances and Patrick Alesia, supporting Shorecrest means investing in a community wholeheartedly. Proud grandparents of Nick ’30, the New York natives brought their deep appreciation for high-quality education and a desire to get involved from the moment their grandson enrolled at Shorecrest.
The Alesias have become familiar faces on campus, known for their presence and their commitment to the School’s growth. As Leadership Level donors to the Shorecrest Fund, they play a vital role in ensuring the School has the resources to maintain its high standards.
Their involvement goes beyond financial support. Both Pat and Fran have served on the Shorecrest Fund Council, with Pat continuing to serve as a dedicated member of the group. They are staples at the annual Shorecrest Gala, consistently showing up to support the School’s Mission and enjoy the camaraderie of the community.
More recently, Pat was a guest speaker at Upper School Career Day (below). “I was happy to volunteer and I enjoyed presenting. The students asked excellent questions and a few have even reached out since Career Day to ask for my advice.”
When asked what inspires their continued generosity, the answer is simple, "We are inspired by the quality of education and the Shorecrest facilities," they shared. "What we love most is the excellent education our grandson is obtaining."
