Varsity Volleyball vs Northside & IRC

The Varsity volleyball team played against Northside Christian and won 3-0 on Monday. The team was extremely focused and played consistently the entire game. It was hard losing our right side hitter, Brooke Waldmann '22, due to a concussion, but the team came together to play some of our best volleyball yet. The most spectacular play was an overpass from Northside and our middle blocker, Chaise Campbell '20, sent them some love by hitting the ball back straight down inside the 10 foot line.
Chargers 3, Indian Rocks Christian 0
In Thursday night’s action, the Chargers won against Indian Rocks 3-0, not giving a lot of chance to the opponent. This past weekend we lost to the same team in tournament play, 2-0, so this was a good recovery for the team. It was a nice, clean win where we kept Indian Rocks under 10 in the first 2 games.
Our Right Side Hitter, Annabelle Happ '20, is coming from a setter position and was essential in adding some power plays as a hitter both from the front row and back row. Our libero Julia Craig '21 had some great runs on her serving. The team was extremely consistent again, and the win was truly a collective effort relying on all players.
