Shorecrest Middle School held its annual Middle School Awards Assembly in the Janet Root Theatre on May 15, 2025. Awards presented included academic achievement, Citizen of the Year, Spark Awards, the Harold Bruggeman Award, and others.

To start the event the Spark Awards were presented to students who bring their own unique Spark to their grade:

At the end of the assembly, next year's MS Musical was announced - "All Shook Up Young@Part" - inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. Auditions will be held in fall 2025.
