EGG-cellent Education in Alpha

Mrs. Carson’s Alpha Class had an EGG-cellent time last Thursday when former Shorecrest teacher Robin Clemmons, representing the Foundation For Sustainable Families, visited with chickens! Mrs. Clemmons was a guest expert for the Egg Project the alpha class is working on. She not only brought her star chickens - Henrietta, Snow White, and Farrah - but she brought farm fresh eggs of theirs that were several different colors for the children to look at, touch, learn and talk about. Mrs. Clemmons even brought a couple of tiny eggs, one blue and one tan, that at the farm they call "Fairy Eggs."
The children were so excited and inspired that they pulled out clipboards and drew pictures of the experience.
