"The New Girl" Author Visits ES

Published author and Shorecrest parent, Katie Georgiadis, visited The Experiential School last Friday for the second Fun Farewell of the year. ES students close the school week with a Fun Farewell on Fridays. 

Mrs. Georgiadis shared her book "The New Girl," a true story about her dog, Bear, and how he adjusted to the arrival of their first baby, Anna, who is now a second grader in the Lower School. The students listened intently and asked questions about the process of writing and publishing a book. They were especially curious about the illustrations. They also learned that Bear now enjoys the company of Anna's brother, Costa, a kindergartner at Shorecrest.

Mrs. Georgiadis was grateful for the opportunity to connect and share her story with the children and their families.
