Alpha on-the-go-athon (photos)

Experiential School News

The Alpha on-the-go-athon served two purposes this year. It was the culminating activity for Alpha's investigation of transportation and it was their end of the year family celebration.

Students and parents began the morning at 8:30am with a power-up breakfast and enjoyed a video of highlights of the year while socializing with their classroom community. Then parents got a spot to watch students roll along the "track" around the Charger Commons Tower.

Our Alpha athletes marched out to "Eye of the Tiger" and then stood for the National Anthem. Then they rode out in heats:
  • Super Scooters
  • Terrific Trikes
  • Beautiful Beaming Balance Bikes
  • Talented Training Wheel Bikes
  • Tremendous Two Wheel Bikers
Every student completed two laps around the track to cheers from an exuberant audience! The fun day ended with a family dance party.
