Shorecrest School

Community Donor Spotlight: Jennifer Alesia

Contributing Chargers Advancement

For Jennifer Alesia, the Shorecrest experience isn’t just about where her son goes to school — it’s also about a shared commitment to growth, potential, and a vibrant, inclusive community. Since her son Nick ’30, walked onto campus as a first grader eight years ago, Jennifer has been an active force in the life of the School. In addition to being an involved parent in her child's experience, Jennifer has also served the community as a whole by being a member of the Shorecrest Board of Trustees and also as a dedicated voice on the Shorecrest Fund Council.

Jennifer’s passion for Shorecrest’s Mission to develop lifelong learners is a natural extension of her professional life. With over 25 years in Human Resources for global Fortune 50 companies, most recently serving as a Chief Learning Officer, she has built a career around leadership development and executive coaching.

"I love the way the Shorecrest teachers and coaches challenge the kids to reach their full potential," Jennifer says. "The wealth of opportunities to learn and grow both inside and outside the classroom is what makes this place special."

Knowing that tuition alone doesn’t cover the full cost of a student’s education, Jennifer began a distinguished eight-year streak of consecutive giving. As a First Street Society Leadership Donor, Jennifer views her support of the Shorecrest Fund as an investment in innovation. By helping bridge the gap, she ensures the School can continue to enhance academic and co-curricular programs.

"My son is an athlete, so I am also very passionate about supporting the sports teams," she shares. "I truly value the supportiveness of the teachers and coaches here."

For Jennifer, Shorecrest is more than an institution; it’s an inclusive atmosphere where Nick and his peers are empowered to become lifelong learners.
