Experiential School Pep Rally

Upper School News

On Monday the youngest Chargers on campus supported their football team with a first-ever Experiential School Pep Rally. Alpha and JK students were led into the Crisp Gym by football players, watched the cheerleaders perform, had time to play with Sparky - our lightning bolt mascot, and met the varsity football team. They learned that cheering loudly is OK at a football game and that clapping shows the cheerleaders they enjoyed their stunts. Some students tried on football helmets, and many shook pom poms and shakers they made themselves in their classrooms. Coach McCall and Dr. Danyali finished things off with a game of "Sparky Says."

Later that night, Experiential School students were invited to return with their families for pre-game festivities like face painting and photos with Sparky. The football game was unfortunately cancelled due to lightning, but plenty of fun was had preceeding the storm!
