Chargers Swim & Dive competed against two large public school teams and the boys were victorious against both while the girls were able to overtake Seminole, but fell to St. Pete.
The boys 400 Free Relay (Joseph B. '20, Michael L. '20, Misha M. '20 and Caleb K. '20) added big points to the score with a first place finish. Contributing with two wins was Caleb K. (200 IM and 100 Fly), and with one each were Dominic H. '19 (Diving), Misha M. (100 Free) and Joseph B. (500 Free).
The girls won every event against Seminole, but were outmatched by a strong St. Pete High team. Winning one event each against both teams were Sophie E. '19 (Diving), Taylor E. '19 (100 Free) and the 400 Free Relay (Sarah L. '22, Claire E. '23, Emery C. '20 and Taylor E.).
Shorecrest Swim & Dive is looking forward to a rematch with St. Pete this Friday (Diving) and Saturday (Swimming) at the City of St. Petersburg Championship Meet.
