Saturday, October 7, four Shorecrest faculty members accompanied a group of Shorecrest students to the opening night of the Florida Florida Orchestra’s 50th anniversary season. Faculty members Ron Heller (US History), Pedro Alonso (US Spanish), Danielle Parrott (MS Science), and Stacie Seinke (Vocal Music Director) organized the event for any interested community members.

According to Heller, "The main piece of the evening was Carl Orff’s 'Carmina Burana' executed brilliantly and enhanced by a new acoustics shell in the Hall."

Future opportunities to attend concerts and cultural events with the Shorecrest community are forthcoming.
