Braden Stone '26 selected as National Merit Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Braden Stone '26 who has been selected as a National Merit Nationwide Foundation Scholarship recipient. Braden was chosen from a talent pool of more than 15,000 outstanding Finalists nationwide in the 71st Annual National Merit Scholarship Program. 

Braden is among approximately 2,500 students awarded this prestigious scholarship, recognizing excellence in academics, leadership, and extracurricular involvement, as well as strong potential for success in rigorous college studies. 

This honor reflects years of dedication, beginning with exceptional performance on the PSAT/NMSQT and culminating in a highly competitive application process. 

Braden, a Shorecrest Lifer and leader, will attend Northwestern University @northwesternu where he intends to study journalism. He is currently Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Chronicle, the Sports Broadcasting Club President, Student Council Vice President, and Co-President of the Jewish Student Union.
