Olivia Manfrey '28 was awarded a National Silver Medal for her drawing entitled "The Violence I Don't Mean." Her studio art teacher is Ms. Charla Gaglio.

The artists and their teachers will be invited to attend the National Ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City this summer.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923 and, for more than a century, have inspired bold ideas in creative teens throughout the country.
