eSmart Technology Recycling Partnership

Upper School News

The Shorecrest Outdoor Club is pleased to partner with eSmart Recycling for the One Million Laptops Campaign, an international campaign to bring technology to underserved communities.

eSmart Recycling, located in Tampa, recycles computers and electronics to set up tech incubators for kids without access to technology all over the world. The company is the 2016 Sustainable Business Award Winner in the small business category. They provide certificates for secure data destruction of hard drives.

Shorecrest is currently hosting a technology drive. Bins are located in each division office and in the Shorecrest Media Center. Please consider donating any old laptops, computers, electronics, phones, and tablets. The recycled items from the Shorecrest drive will be used to provide a tech incubator for underserved students in Pinellas County.
