SCA: Wrapping up the 2018-2019 school year

Upper School News

How SCA Helped this year
Thanks to our community of volunteers and all their efforts in running events like Greenery, Fall Festival, Uniform Sales, and the Big Event, SCA was able to give back $72,500 to Shorecrest this year!

Thank you to:
  • Oldie Goldie Book Sale Chairs Jen Casanta and Lauryn Leverenz. The students love finding new gems to snuggle up with!
  • SCA extends a special thank you to Debe Shenkman for an entire year of support with all school-related activities. Her attention to detail never goes unnoticed!
Uniform Collection:
If your child has outgrown their uniforms, please consider donating them to the SCA Uniform Sale. SCA is collecting used Lands’ End uniforms that are in good condition throughout the summer. Collection bins are located outside of the Lower and Middle school offices. The next used uniform sale will be at the start of the upcoming school year.

Be a part of the time-honored tradition of Lower School Fall Festival on October 31, 2019, 10am-noon. We have an exciting list of activities you can help run! Parents, guardians and grandparents are welcome to sign up for a fun couple of hours with the kids.
Some activity ideas: Apple Bobbing, Sack Race, Slime Making, Pumpkin ring toss, Haystack search, Bean bag toss, Treasure dig, Stack the apples, Guess the number of M&M’s, Pumpkin patch walk, Spider web toss, Velcro dart toss.
We're open to your new ideas too! (Activities already spoken for: Cookie decoration and Face painting.)
