AP Biology Creates Life

Here, AP Biology students are proudly displaying their newly-engineered life forms. They made common E. coli bacteria resistant to ampicillin, and also gave them the ability to digest lactose. This gene-splicing lab is part of our unit on molecular genetics and biotechnology.
