National History Day 15th Year Anniversary

Upper School News


In their 15th year of mentoring students for Florida History Day, Mr. Heller and Mr. Hodgson brought their students to victory on the campus of USF this past Saturday at the Pinellas County History Day.

As a follow up to a special Lazar Family Holocaust Prize won by a Shorecrest team project, "Standing up for Survival - The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising," Mr. Jerry Rawicki, a Holocaust survivor, addressed the Upper School on Thursday and spoke about his experiences escaping the Warsaw Ghetto. Bay News 9 was there to cover the event.
