Cross Country at the State Finals

On November 9, 2019, the Girls Cross Country team competed in the State Finals in Tallahassee, FL. Traveling on Friday and racing on Saturday was a great experience for everyone. It was a chilly start to the race with the temperature at 48 degrees on the starting line. All of the girls ran a great race and ended their season on a positive note.
With 32 other teams qualifying, Shorecrest ran to a 12th place team finish. Hailey Howard '22 was the Chargers' top finisher at 18th out of 226 runners. Congratulations girls on a great season and a great State Final race!
