On Friday, November 1, students from Shorecrest’s Upper School SPARC Club volunteered at Art in the PARC.
PARC is an organization that provides services for people with special needs, and they have many art programs to support their clients. Art in the PARC is an event that showcases and sells art made by PARC's clients. At the event, volunteer Chargers greeted guests at the door, helped sell art, and helped pack up the event. The art sold ranged from paintings to jewelry to ceramics.
Guests also enjoyed a performance by PARC’s “Inspired” Choir. The Choir performs at various local events throughout the year.
"When they performed, they radiated joy, and everyone in the room could feel it," said Brenna Dukes '21, SPARC co-President.
This was just one of many events that SPARC plans to volunteer for this year.
