Women in STEAM Podcast - Season 4 Launch
After a year-long hiatus, Shorecrest’s Women in STEAM Podcast has launched Season 4, featuring an interview with Nicole Stott.
Hosts Ava Peters ‘25 and Alexis Valance ‘25 chatted with Astronaut, Engineer, Author and Artist Nicole Stott. Hear from the first person to paint in space! Mrs. Stott said, "How powerful it is for us to accept our role as crewmates, not just passengers, on planet Earth. I really believe we have the power to create a future for all life on Earth that is as beautiful as it looks from space."

Nicole Stott is an astronaut, aquanaut, engineer, artist, and author of “Back to Earth: What Life In Space Taught Me About Our Home Planet – And Our Mission To Protect It”; and most importantly a mom. She creatively combines the awe and wonder of her spaceflight experience with her artwork to inspire everyone’s appreciation of our role as crewmates here on Spaceship Earth.
