Noah Eichenbaum ’28 Competes at Florida DECA
Noah Eichenbaum ’28 competed at the Florida state conference of DECA, a career development organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. The event brought together more than 2,500 students from across Florida to test their business knowledge and skills.
Noah placed 5th overall, earning a spot at the upcoming DECA International Career Development Conference. During the competition he participated in a role-play scenario in which he acted as the co-Founder of a company pitching a newly developed tiny lawn mower. With only ten minutes to prepare after receiving the case study, he presented a marketing strategy and identified the product’s target audience to the judge, who served as the other company Founder. His role-play score was combined with his score on a written exam taken two weeks earlier to determine his final placement.
"I really enjoyed seeing and meeting all the people that have my same interests, and making connections with others who are interested in entrepreneurship," Noah reflected. "It was great to bounce back ideas with Mr. Walton (Director of RRI), Ms. Belloni (Associate Director of RRI) and other people to help me expand my business mindset. I am really excited to network at ICDC and meet more people my age who are excited to learn and grow in the business community."
Noah will compete next in April 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia.
