Shorecrest Sure Has Talent! [video]

Upper School News

Shorecrest has partnered with businesses from around the Tampa Bay area for St. Pete’s Got Talent, a benefit event supporting the Free Clinic and other area nonprofits. Service and community involvement are important parts of our school Mission. Thanks to everyone who supported the food drive and this talent show!

Thanks also go out to our three judges — Diego Duran-Medina, Rachel Martin and Ethan Updike. They stepped forward to take on an important task. Our emcees, senior Jacob N and junior Mario G, did a great job keeping our show running smoothly.

Thank you to the students, parents, faculty and staff who stepped forward to share their talents! Although the competition was fierce, only one act can continue on to St. Pete’s Got Talent at Jannus Live on November 12. The selected act was "Naughty" from Matilda, performed by fifth grader Alissa S!! A video of her performance, which is an exceptional representation of the Broadway musical MATILDA, is below, followed by clips from the other performances from the evening.

The nonprofit Alissa has chosen to support through the talent show is All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine.

When you attend St. Pete's Got Talent, you'll get to see Alissa and many other talented locals preform. All funds raised are for charities in our community. To purchase tickets, visit stpetesgottalent.com.
