Join fellow Shorecrest travelers who share a deep love for Theatre. Immerse yourself in the British cultural environment of London and Stratford-upon-Avon.
This journey was planned so everyone can explore the historic and engaging city of London and West End Theatre. The thoughtful itinerary features educational activities and training geared towards the students, while family members learn about British foods, customs and culture on fun-filled visits to iconic sites. Capacity is limited to 12 Upper School students. Additional Family members are welcome – age 13 and older.

Proposed Itinerary June 22 – July 1, 2020 (10 days)
Explore the Performing Arts through the London lens:
- Visit Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
- Attend West End Performing Arts Performances
- Students Train in Acting, Singing, Movement & Stage Combat with West End Performers and Take class at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art
- Everyone participates in Visual and Performing Arts Cultural Activities
$5,200 per person includes:
- 4 Star Hotel Accommodations, double occupancy
- All Breakfasts, and most Lunches & Dinners
- Cultural activities
- Transportation by Tube and Bus within London

Students may have the opportunity to receive academic credit while studying Shakespearean texts and plays with Shorecrest faculty, then work side by side with British experts of the period in the development of this genre. The course includes in-depth discussion of two of Shakespeare’s works, and combines classwork with learning excursions which bring the subject to life. There will be readings, discussions and performances. Visit the iconic Globe Theatre and train with Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts faculty.
$200 refundable deposit per person due October 10.
