Students Scouted for Summer Performing Arts Program

Debra McWaters, Artistic Director of the Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) attended our A Chorus Line rehearsal at Shorecrest on Saturday and scouted several of our students to attend during summer 2018. Playbill refers to BTP as "the world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students." The following Shorecrest students will be attending:

- Eric Jacobson '21
- Reilly O'Neill '20
- Senna Prasatthong-osoth '19
- Shannon Wright '20
Cheryl Lee, Co-Chair of Shorecrest Upper School's Arts Department. is the Associate Artistic Director of Broadway Theatre Project.
Debra McWaters is also the Associate Choreographer of "Chicago the Musical" on Broadway.
Dozens of our Shorecrest students have attended BTP over the last 20 years. Last year, Danielle Hernandez, Mitchell Greene, Senna Prasatthong and Mario Gonzalez attended.
